    Job Skills/Requirements: The responsibility of the Clinical Director (LISW or LPCC) is to supervise a team of residential therapists and ensure that they are meeting the needs of the clients in the residential treatment center.     Job Skills/Requirements: The primary responsibility of this position is to work in an adolescent residential treatment center with girls ages 13-17 that have experienced a high prevalence of traumatic events. Will also be responsible for the overall implementation of policies and procedures while providing quality, effective, and efficient therapeutic interventions and for the direct sight and sound supervision of the clients while in treatment.

  • The Heritage of Hannah Neil is in need of a 2nd Shift Program Leader! This position will work 3-11 PM.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the units during scheduled shift. Assigns specific duties to staff scheduled on his/her shift. Able to make independent decisions rapidly and accurately within the program model, particularly in crisis situations.

    Understand the physical, mental, behavioral and emotional impacts of trauma and how they may be manifested through the daily behaviors of the residents and assist other program staff in gaining this understanding in order to provide appropriate interventions.

    Promotes team cohesiveness by initiating and participating in daily interactions and activities with the team of staff members providing direct care to the girls and boys.

    Residential Program Leader may be at times responsible for participating in the interviewing and hiring of residential specialists. Program Leader will be responsible for the supervision and performance evaluations of the residential specialists. The Program Leader will maintain supervision minutes/logs for each employee he or she supervises and will complete annual performance evaluations for all employees on his/her respective shifts.

    Assists the Director in the orientation and training of all new employees by acting as a “mentor” and providing appropriate feedback regarding performance to the Director and RS.

    May be required at any time to work additional shifts due to staff shortages, illness, vacations, or other situations requiring additional staffing when unable to replace a staff. 2nd Shift Program Manager will be responsible for 3rd shift coverage in the event of call offs and emergency situations. There must be a supervisor on site at all times.

    Residential Program Leader is responsible for submitting a monthly shift schedule to the Deputy Director for approval by the 15th of every month.

    The Recreation Specialist assists in planning, coordinating, and conducting activities and recreational groups. The Recreation Specialist will be responsible for overseeing activities for the kids at the Heritage of Hannah Neil Residential. This person is responsible for ensuring a variety of activities are conducted to meet all the needs of the program, including but not limited to the following: exercise, games, craft/art activities, music, outdoor activities, and other activities.

    Coordinates medication support services with community support program personnel in order to insure provision of effective, efficient, and safe client care in accordance with established state and agency standards.

    Assesses and evaluates client needs as related to service planning efforts to assure that mental health issues are addressed.

    Consults with community support program staff in the formation, implementation and delivery of individualized service plans. Assists other behavioral medicine staff in coordinating client care.

    Performs nursing assessments.

    Compiles and communicates information to the community support program staff and/or behavioral medicine staff on continuity of client care issues.

    Provides nursing care to clients including, but not limited to, the administration of medication; implementation of nursing procedures as ordered by the physician or as indicated by the nursing assessment; verbal and physical interventions in accordance with professional standards.

    Initiates crisis alerts when appropriate for clients who present with exacerbation of symptoms which require crisis management plans, or requires a change in level of care.

  • Eastway is hiring for a Nurse Manager at The Heritage of Hannah Neil residential which provides mental health treatment for children who’ve experienced trauma.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Ensures the quality of the nursing and medication services provided at Eastway by directly supervising day-to-day nursing operations and staff.

    Meet with nursing staff to provide supervision in the performance of their duties, and maintain appropriate documentation of such supervision.

    Helps to improve the quality of services by providing or arranging training to nurses and other Eastway staff as appropriate with respect to medical or medication-related issues.

    Schedules nursing staff to ensure coverage in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Provides coverage in the absence of a scheduled nurse.

    Develops and coordinates ongoing quality assurance/quality improvement and peer review activities for RTC nursing services. The Nurse supervisor will consult with the facility psychiatrist/provider and other medical providers to ensure that client medical needs are met in a timely fashion and with the Eastway Corporation Medical Director to ensure consistent medical services across Eastway programs.

    Nurse Manager is expected to respond to situations as they arise.

  • Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is looking for an IT and Carelogic Support Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring all employees in Columbus and Washington Court House have computer access, computer needs are addressed, phone and camera systems work and all Carelogic (our Electronic Medical Records system) support tickets are resolved on a timely basis.

    This includes handling remote and on-site troubleshooting, responding to incoming phone calls, tickets, and e-mail requests for support of hardware and software issues and setting up hardware/software for new employees. This position will also become the main support to the other employees on Carelogic which includes correcting note and billing errors, access issues, and any other troubleshooting pertaining to the Electronic Medical Records.

    The IT and Carelogic Support Specialist will troubleshoot desktop systems and workstations with limited supervision and will have the ability to escalate issues to the Network Administrator if unable to resolve. The specialist will work together with the Network Administrator on various projects throughout the agency.

    The specialist should possess the ability to be a self-learner, be resourceful, and have a strong desire to advance their career in Information Technology. This position should be a motivated individual with a strong desire to learn as well as being able to work in a small team environment and be able to communicate well with team members and Eastway employees.

  • Northcutt Residential Treatment serves youth boys for behavioral health. The center's services are grounded in the philosophy of Trauma-Informed Care, an evidence-based practice which has demonstrated positive outcomes for victims of trauma. While some of the issues may be educational, they almost always include a mental health component as well. At Webster Street Academy, we don’t wait until a student fails yet again to step in. We take the time to figure out why your student is struggling, and then implement intervention that can begin assisting them day one. We provide the support, programming, and attention each of our students needs to point them on the pathway to success.

    Our students are 6th through 12th grade. At Webster Street Academy, we keep our classes small, so that our kids get the attention they need. Schools that have contracted with us send students when it’s clear their needs are not being met at their home school.

    The Intervention Specialist will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional learning environment for an entire classroom of students. The Intervention Specialist will follow the core curriculum set.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Provide an educational program for students as defined by the student’s Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).

    Work cooperatively with general education classroom teachers, aides, and other service providers, to modify the curriculum as necessary; and to assist with research-based and evidence-based interventions.

    Utilizes appropriate assessment, data collection, and progress monitoring methods to assess academic and social performance and to inform instruction and progress.

    Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments.

    Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules.

    Provide appropriate feedback on work, along with maintaining a grade book.

    Provides feedback to supervisor/director on any issues or incidents that may affect the progress/regression of any person served by the program.

    Requirements:

    • State of Ohio Teaching Certificate

    • K-12 Intervention Specialist certificate.

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or Special Education

    • Previous experience as a teacher or intervention specialist working with at-risk youth is preferred.

    Full-time position

    Monday through Friday.

    Job Skills/Requirements: The Case Manager for HOPE will participate in an interdisciplinary team in support of the recovery and housing stability of persons with co-occurring disorders including serious mental illness, drug and alcohol dependence and chronic homelessness. The Case Manager will also coordinate community services and provide the appropriate therapeutic intervention that is consistent with the individuals stage of recovery.

    Education Requirement: Bachelors in Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field. Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) or similar certificate preferred.

    Other: Experience with reintegration, SUD (substance use disorder), and homelessness are all preferred with offender re-entry is preferred.   • We are currently looking to hire a Team Leader (LSW, LPC, LISW or LPCC) for our Dayton location. The Team Leader will supervisor a team of community support specialist/case managers.

    Position Overview:

    Provides Leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team that plans, coordinates, and delivers medically necessary services that facilitate recovery to persons served with severe and persistent mental illness that are consistent with the individual’s stage of recovery and are offered in a person-centered manner.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing and supervision of assigned team at all times, including coverage assignments for persons served and back-up schedule during staff absence(s).

    2. Ensures that team assigned support the organization’s financial requirements as follows: Provide, document, and bill the services required for all Community Support Specialists. Monitor performance and implement corrective action for staff not meeting standards.

    3. Ensure assigned team complies with agency standards, licensing requirements, and regulations of accrediting agencies.

    4. Ensures that all team members are trained to perform job duties, and that staff adhere to mandatory training requirements. Engage in ongoing assessment of staff competencies and identify training needs.

    5. Ensure that clients that meet the criteria for discharge are successfully transitioned to the appropriate level of care in a timely manner in accordance with agency policy & procedure and other applicable standards/regulations.

    Education:

    Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or a related field.

    Certification:

    Minimum - LSW or LPC

    Preferred - LISW or LPCC
