Eastway's Commitment to Privacy and Security
Eastway has a number of organizational policies and procedures in place to ensure the protection and confidentiality of personal information. Any individual receiving services from Eastway is informed of his/her rights regarding the uses and disclosures of confidential healthcare information at the time they begin services and is given a copy of Eastway's Privacy Notice. Eastway will not use or release confidential healthcare information for marketing purposes without an authorization from the specific patient to do so. Limited demographic information, in aggregate form, may be released for the purpose of raising funds.
Eastway's commitment to protecting personal information and confidentiality extends throughout all of its programs, including: Adult Recovery Services, Housing, Supported Employment, Forensic Psychiatry Center of Western Ohio, Eastco Enterprises, Northcutt Residential Treatment Center, and Webster Street Academy and Family Center.

For individuals receiving services, Eastway collects and protects the appropriate personal, healthcare and financial information. Website visitors requesting additional information may be asked to provide: name/contact person/organization; street address, city, state, zip code; email address; and phone/fax number. The information collected via the Eastway website will only be used to fulfill the request - it will not be shared with any persons or groups outside of Eastway. Individuals wanting to make an on-line donation to Eastway will be asked for the dollar amount; credit card name, number and expiration date; billing address; email address; and if they want their contribution to be anonymous. Donation information is collected using a Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which is a cryptographic protocol that provides security and data integrity to the information submitted to Eastway.
